There has been an increase in reported cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the Canary Islands, particularly in northern parts of the Island of Tenerife. This is being monitored.

On the mainland of Spain there is a high risk of exposure to coronavirus (COVID-19):

On the Canary Islands, there is a moderate risk of exposure to coronavirus (COVID-19):
- You are advised to consider avoiding non-essential travel to the Canary Islands if you are at an increased risk of severe COVID-19.
