Top Tips for Disabled and Less Mobile air Passengers

03 Aug 2015

Travellers who are disabled or have difficulty moving around, can receive free assistance when flying to and from the UK and Europe, and on domestic flights. Under European law, assistance is available to anyone with mobility requirements – for example because of their disability, age or a temporary injury.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission has produced the leaflet: Your passport to a smooth journey (Top tips for disabled and less mobile air passengers). The leaflet explains traveller's rights and what to do to ensure the best chance of a smooth journey.

  • You can find out more on Your Rights to Fly, also available from The Equality and Human Rights Commission.
