Issues viewing fitfortravel on some devices

fitfortravel has been developed to work on desktop computers, laptops and mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.) and for most of the pages there are no differences to the content or functions you have, but there are a few exceptions which are detailed below.

  • Wide tables
There are a few tables on the website that, when viewed on mobile devices, are too wide for the screen and we have not been able to reflowed the table information. To view these tables you should swipe your screen to move around the table.
  • Continent maps
On smaller screen mobile devices we have removed the continent maps as a navigation aid to access country information. There is still the country list that can be filtered by typing the name of the country you want to view. We will be looking at maps in the future.
  • Malaria maps
On mobile devices we have removed the functionality on the country malaria maps (being able to display regional information, main airports, railways and access to neighbouring countries malaria maps). This is due to a technical issue in the way we manage our maps and is something we will be looking at in the future.
