End of Ebola Virus Disease in Mali

The government of Mali and the World Health Organisation announced on 18 January 2015, that the outbreak of Ebola virus disease (EVD) in the country was officially over. The country had completed the required 42 day period since the last case of EVD had a negative laboratory test for the virus on 6 December 2014.
